This season, Creative Director Emily Smith found the spark for her collection close to home. “New York City is a source of constant inspiration for me. You can see it in our cut lines, in the architecture of the garments, and in our palettes. There’s an energy and a New York sensibility that’s always present in our collections.” The campaign was photographed at one of New York’s modern architectural masterpieces, the Louis Kahn-designed Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island. It’s an unexpected view of NYC, and one that’s uniquely ours.

Our design approach is rooted in an appreciation for architecture. The campaign’s clean geometric structures echo the Fall collection’s architectural lines. A strong foundation is key, as seen in the season’s sumptuous, precision-tailored coats and trousers. Layerable pieces lend themselves to transitional dressing, while a focus on proportion, scale and construction is prominent.

Says Creative Director Emily Smith, “As women, we innately understand her needs and what works for her body.” The subtlest details—such as the placement of a seam or the shape of a vent—helps the garment and the woman wearing it move with ease. Says Smith, “As women, we’re always on the move, our lives are demanding, and we need clothes that can keep up with us.”
